Brahms Rehearsals Begin

The Chamber Singers of Iowa City are back in full swing after a rejuvenating summer break! We're thrilled to be reunited and picking up where we left off, still basking in the glow of our May performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah. The concert was a resounding success, and we're grateful for the incredible support from our audience.

As we embark on a new season, we're excited to welcome both familiar faces and fresh talent. We're fortunate to have a dedicated core of returning members, whose experience and passion continue to elevate our ensemble. Additionally, we're delighted to introduce several new singers who bring their unique voices and perspectives to our group.

Now, our focus turns to our upcoming concert: Brahms' Requiem. This monumental work is a masterpiece of choral literature, and we're honored to have the opportunity to perform it. Over the coming months, we'll be diligently rehearsing to ensure that we deliver a performance that is both technically proficient and emotionally resonant.
